Agent Blast Radius in VS Code

One click adds blast for GitHub Copilot's agent mode.

Install in VS Code

What you need

macOS or Linux (ARM64 or AMD64)
Node.js 22 or newer on your PATH (nodejs.org; the installer puts it where desktop apps can find it)
VS Code with GitHub Copilot (agent mode)

Install

Click Install in VS Code
Approve in VS Code. The server is added to your user MCP configuration.

Check it works

Command palette
Run MCP: List Servers; blast should be running. In Copilot Chat (agent mode) the tools picker lists the blast_* tools.

The scan is offline and read-only. It reports credential types, locations and fingerprints, never values.

Remove the server
