Agent Blast Radius in Claude Desktop

Install the extension. It brings its own launcher and uses Claude Desktop's built-in Node, so there's nothing else to set up.

What you need

• macOS (Claude Desktop)
• No Node.js needed for the extension

Install

1. Download the extension

   agent-blast-radius-0.3.0.mcpb from the GitHub release.

2. Install it

   Open the file with Claude Desktop (double-click it, or drag it onto Settings → Extensions), review the details and confirm.

Alternative: Config file (needs Node.js 22+)

1. Edit ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

   Settings → Developer → Edit Config, add this, then restart Claude Desktop:

Check it works

1. Look for the tools

   Settings → Extensions shows Agent Blast Radius enabled; in a chat, the tools menu lists the blast_* tools.

Try it

Paste into Claude Desktop:

Run the Agent Blast Radius scan on this machine and show me the headline counts, then make the share card.

The scan is offline and read-only. It reports credential types, locations and fingerprints, never values.

Uninstall

1. Remove the extension

   Settings → Extensions → Agent Blast Radius → Uninstall. Claim state lives in ~/Library/Application Support/blast.

Troubleshooting

Verification says “aws is not installed”

The checks run on your Mac with your own tools. Install the AWS CLI to verify AWS profiles.
