Agent Blast Radius in Devin Desktop (Windsurf)

Add blast as an MCP server for Cascade, and a rule so it's used at the right moments.

What you need

• macOS or Linux (ARM64 or AMD64)
• Node.js 22 or newer on your PATH (nodejs.org; the installer puts it where desktop apps can find it)
• Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf)

Install

1. Open the MCP config

   In Cascade, open the MCP servers panel and choose to edit the raw configuration (mcp_config.json).

2. Add the server and refresh

3. Optional: add the rule

   Save blast.md to .devin/rules/ (older Windsurf: .windsurf/rules/).

Check it works

1. MCP servers panel

   blast shows as connected with 6 tools.

Try it

Paste into Devin Desktop (Windsurf):

Run the Agent Blast Radius scan on this machine and show me the headline counts, then make the share card.

The scan is offline and read-only. It reports credential types, locations and fingerprints, never values.

Uninstall

1. Remove the server

   Delete the blast entry from mcp_config.json and refresh.
