Agent Blast Radius in Codex (CLI and app)

One plugin for the Codex CLI, the Codex app and the IDE extension: they share ~/.codex.

What you need

• macOS or Linux (ARM64 or AMD64)
• Node.js 22 or newer on your PATH (nodejs.org; the installer puts it where desktop apps can find it)
• Codex CLI or the Codex app

Install

1. Add the marketplace and install the plugin

   codex plugin marketplace add makash/agent-blast-radius
   codex plugin add agent-blast-radius@kloudle

   Copy

2. Restart Codex

   Restart the CLI session or the Codex app.

Alternative: MCP server only

1. Add it with the CLI

   codex mcp add blast -- npx -y @kloudle/agent-blast-radius@0.3.0 mcp

2. Or in ~/.codex/config.toml

   [mcp_servers.blast]

Check it works

1. Ask Codex

   Ask “What tools do you have from blast?”. It should list the six blast_* tools. If not, add the MCP server with the alternative above.

Paste into Codex (CLI and app):

Run the Agent Blast Radius scan on this machine and show me the headline counts, then make the share card.

The scan is offline and read-only. It reports credential types, locations and fingerprints, never values.
